Not sure how to open the album to whoever wants to see it! If you know how, let me know!

Try this link: https://picasaweb.google.com/113494801439228169034/IHS1976Annual?authkey=Gv1sRgCP6L08ber-Sk7wEPetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-44832204555348992532011-06-24T12:45:00.000-07:002011-06-24T13:10:19.727-07:00One Month to go!OK, so here is a bit more about the reunion event:

First: register if you haven't yet! This really helps us out by being able to give real numbers to the food suppliers (and pay them)! Send a check to Sue, her address is on the post card, or call me!

Thurs: the hike is shaping up. I walked it the other day and it was beautiful and fun - took about 1 hour plus a little more if we stroll, explore, rest a bit, swim (maybe?!). Funny story, at second dam, picture this, a fire ring scar at the waters edge, a few empty beer cans, beer caps, part of somebody's shoe, and a used package of ZigZag papers! I thought to myself, "hey, I haven't been here in a decade, but it looks like I was here last night! So far it looks like we might get a dozen or so for the hike. Parking is tricky near Giles St, so, if you want to meet a little early (say 3:30) at the Vinyard parking lot, you can park there and I will shuttle folks to the start (easier to get your car at the end, too).

Oh, a reminder, the little hike back out to Rt 79, we'll technically be trespassing, but I am confident that we'll manage just fine!! (it is good to test (ok, break) the rules - remember!!)

Friday: 6:30 to start collecting at Boatyard. BEFORE THAT, if so inclined, GoGone is playing at Castaways for a happy hour sort of thing. it is free and they are a fun and great band to listen and dance to (Scott Wiggins is the drummer). I'll be there!

Sat: BBQ at Meyers Point. Bring stuff to swim if it is a nice day, sun screen, etc.

Sat PM: 8PM - late, fun at Castaways. We'll have a DJ (Jim Avery), and the plan is to have music that is: oldies night at the North Forty, meets The Nines, meets The Haunt. Rocking fun, good dancing, and great listening. It gets hot in there, so be prepared to strip )a little or a lot) and sweat! (oh yeah, it is also an "open class and friends" event, so if you have pals from other class years or who you know are going to be in town, let them know and have them come along!

Sunday: Still working on that, but am hopeful that we'll at least get a partial look around the HS. There is evidently a lot of construction, so they are a little wary about having folks hanging about. I say either way we storm the place and we'll see what we can!

All weekend I plan to have a book available with address and contact information available to check, confirm, update, etc. This cycle of contacting folks was more challenging than last time!

Can't wait to see you all!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-86160257238291357222011-06-07T14:17:00.000-07:002011-06-07T14:28:20.280-07:00Summer's Coming Soon!Hi All,

Things are pretty well set for the reunion which is to be held on the weekend of July 29 - 31 in Ithaca.

A reminder: it helps ENORMOUSLY if you know that you'll be attending to send in a notification and the $45 (that amount goes to $55 the weekend of, so the deal time is now! Thanks.

Also, please help get the word out to others. I have done what I could get to, but there are many, many that have no idea that there is a reunion. If you think of someone, call them, send them an email and invite them to come. We don't get these opportunities very often and the next time around will be 40th (so, relatively, 35 is looking pretty darn good!).

Send me a message, or call me if you need more info or details on the weekend schedule.

Other fun - June 17 - 19 is the 40th reunion concert for the Salty Dog! So, if you like great music, fun folks, and more, you might want to check that out as a sort of warm up!

The Thursday 28th hike and wine tasting is a very informal thing, so if you head out to the vinyard, don't say that you are looking for the IHS '76 reunion group! (the'd probably toss us out for not warning them in advance!). Just head in and have fun. You will eventually see at least me, but I imagine there will be other hiker/wine likers there as well who you will recognize.

Spread the word! See you in 7 more weeks! - PetePetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-29507170706329009112011-05-11T05:16:00.000-07:002011-06-13T20:25:01.456-07:00Contact InfoHI,

Here is a list of folks that I have no address for; Plans are moving along; announcement post card is in the works and a mailing should be going out within the next 4 weeks.

For any of you folks traveling in and needing a place to stay, there is some leverage on prices, maybe, if we can organize a block of rooms; so if that it something that you want more info on, you have to get in touch with me and let me know as soon as you can, and I will see what I can do. Excellent accommodations are always possible via Scott Wiggins at La Tourelle (very nice place!)

Rather than a Thursday mash at the cottage, I have reconsidered and decided that I want to hike to 2nd dam and then on to the Six Mile Creek Winery (open till 8PM!). I will plan to be at the Giles St entrance at 4Pm on the 28th for any of you intrepid souls. Not so intrepid? Just go to the winery! I'll get there eventually!

Remember, if you are coming for the weekend, please send in the funds ($45PP) so we can pay for stuff and give good numbers for planning purposes. It is a bummer to guess wrong, so spare me and RSVP to me either by email or phone or mail!

More info to come!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-71233543837954309722010-12-14T18:15:00.001-08:002010-12-14T18:29:07.571-08:00Waking up the machine!Closing in on 2011, and you know what that means...., YES, the five year excuse for a good old time at another class reunion this coming summer in Ithaca!

I am just beginning to work on this again after a long, quiet time. Appologies to those who commented and I never checked in, but I have now and don't fret, You are on the list for invites this time around! I tried hard last time to reach as many of the 600+ as I could, and will try harder this time.

The dates are chosen, they will be the last weekend in July, Thurs 28 - Sun 31, 2011! So block out your time and make plans to attend; we'll try to make it more than worth your while!

Still refining the schedule, so look for that information to come out in the new year. It won't cost much, totally affordable, but before you deciide that even the little is too much, talk to me first. I would feel pretty bad if the only thing keeping you from the good company of a gang of friends is a few bucks! We'll figure something out!

I'll try to keep up with posting at least once or twice a month, Spread the word. If you have a new email address or snail mail address, fire that information to me at my email address and I will update the datebase with all current information.

That's it for now, I can't wait and I hope to see you there!

emailaddresspfeitnerataoldotcom - sorry to do that to you, but the whole spam thing is a bummer!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1172439022607397472007-02-25T13:30:00.000-08:002007-04-03T06:39:51.043-07:00Note from MartinIHS '76 2006 Reunion

Follows is a note to classmates from Martin Piech:

Dear IHS '76 classmates,

I wish that I could have joined you during the 2006 gala event. Thanks to all who took pictures and made it possible for Pete to post them!! Pete, it must be a guy thing about cameras...I can't count the number of times I've had a camera at family events and didn't take a picture...Chances are likely that I will be retired from the military before the next class gathering. It has been 31 years since I have seen most of you and since I joined the Army. The years have gone quickly. Been all over the planet and have had some truly amazing experiences. I guess as I get older though, the importance of family and close friendships take on added meaning. Although I am in the reserves and have a fulfilling civilian career, the reserves feel more like active duty because of the time we have to give (occasions we miss..) and of course current events. Please stay safe and enjoy life to the fullest. I look forward to seeing you at the next class reunion!!Warmest Regards, Martin Piech

Note: if you'd like to say Hi back to Martin. please let me know and I will get you the contact info.

Thanks,

PetePetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1163872356453682742006-11-18T09:52:00.000-08:002007-02-20T01:04:02.500-08:00Somber newsThis entry is a sad one that marks the passing of one of our classmates: Kevin Stearns.

I had been in contact with Kevin from early on in the reunion planning process. He was one of the first to respond and had been looking forward to attending. Unfortunately, illness prevented that from happening, but some of you may remember seeing his great book of photography on display at the picnic.

Super nice fellow who will be sorely missed by all who knew him well. Follows is the obit:

ObituaryKEVIN P. STEARNS
VALOIS - Kevin P. Stearns, 48, of Valois, passed away at Hospicare on November 16th. If you saw the spectacular rainbow on Thursday afternoon, then you know the moment that Kevin left us. Kevin was the son of Paul H. Stearns of Ithaca, and the late Angela (Morgia) Stearns. He was born in Brooktondale and graduated from Ithaca High School in 1976. He graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 1979, and entered the Marine Corps. He graduated from Basic Training at Parris Island as the honor man in his platoon and saw duty at Okinawa and Twenty-nine Palms, CA. Kevin obtained the rank of Sergeant, having served his country with distinction for four years.
For the past five years, Kevin worked as a photographer for University Photography at Cornell University, a job he loved with people he loved. Kevin was an active member of the Cayuga Nature Photographers Club. One of his wishes was that the members of the club know how much they meant to him.
Kevin's book, "The Finger Lakes Region of New York: A Photographic Portrait," is witness to the beauty of our region and to the power of his photography created from his studio, Valois Photography.
Kevin played in the Ithaca Youth Hockey Association from age seven and never outgrew his passion for the game. He was the beloved coach of the Ithaca Sirens women's hockey team, and also volunteered his time coaching in the Ithaca Youth Hockey Association and the Tompkins Girls Hockey Association. Kevin also enjoyed the Ithaca Cortland Fast-Pitch Softball League, where he played second base.
An avid hiker, Kevin and his longtime buddies took annual trips to the Adirondack Mountains which he cherished beyond all other obligations.
Kevin is survived by his father, Paul H. Stearns; and his brother, Glenn H. Stearns of Ithaca; and numerous aunts and uncles and twenty-four cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 22nd, at Holy Cross Church at 375 George Rd., Freeville. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden. Those wishing to remember Kevin are asked to consider a memorial to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850, or the Franziska Racker Center, 3226 Wilkins Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. www.perkinsfuneralhome.comPetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1158117706072691172006-09-12T20:21:00.000-07:002006-09-12T20:21:46.203-07:00Oh my god, a new post!IHS '76 2006 Reunion

Hi to whoever is still checking in here. Man, it's heading on two months since the big wahoo and I am still not able to put together the time or focus to deal with the wrap up and the photos, etc.

I have written a group email which I will send tonight before I go to bed. It is a chrun for photos to come in. I have gotten a few, which I will post soon, but for now this is the best you're going to get out of me!

Hope you're all well; super-great to see every one of you and thanks!

Merry Meet and Merry Part and Merry Meet Again!

PetePetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1153877989891077212006-07-25T18:22:00.000-07:002006-07-25T18:39:49.903-07:00PRADump any anxiety at the door, I promise, if you are even a little willing, in less than five minutes of showing up you will be transformed into a teenager once again!

These are all friends, we are all totally different and very much similar to the way we were.

It is true that I cannot drink the same vast quantities as in my youth, but it is less necessary for all of the right reasons!

So, one little story: when I was 14 I had a little aluminum boat with a 5hp engine that I used to run around on the lake. My sister was 16 and decided to sneak into the then Salty Dog (what is now Castaways). Well, knowing she would be there, I decided that I could manage the same behavior, especially if I boarded by sea!

So, with Mom in bed sleeping (yeah, right), I put on my best cool guy clothes (you can use your imagination, the only thing you should know is that whatever those clothes were, they were not cool) and headed down to the boat.

To digress for a minute, being that I always needed gas for the boat and I was always with no cash for gas, that resigned me to the nasty habit of siphoning gas from the tanks of my neighbors cars along our road. Now, I know this was not nice, nor was it particularly healthy or safe, but it was a necessity and I was a rather ambitious child when it came to adventure.

So, off I went into the night, across the dark water, up the inlet and to the first bar I went into as an "adult". Snuck onto the deck there adn hung out with the really cool folks, might have had a little beer, but most 14 year olds in Ithaca probably had a little beer at that time (the ones I knew anyhow).

So, for me, Castaways will be a double trip, a homecoming, a full circle, a Saturn return, a return to the scene of the crime, etc, so on and so forth.

It also marks my last official night as Communications Czar, so there will be a little ceremony, maybe some cake (kidding). Just fun and dancing. See you there!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1153876338383189312006-07-25T18:02:00.001-07:002006-07-25T18:18:07.290-07:00Finishing Touches - DetailsReunion Schedule:

Friday 7/28, 5PM - Boatyard Grill, Old Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY

We'll have a tent set up on the lawn by the inlet. There will be hot and cold appetizer, Beer and Wine $5 each. Comp beverages for kids (soda, etc). Other beverages are available at the regular bar. There will be a band playing in the outside bar area, some seating and lots of room to mingle. (Oh yeah, and a whole bunch of sort of familiar faces hanging around). Parking will be tight, so car pool if you can; otherwise you might need to hunt a bit for parking and walk a ways.

This evening was originally planed as informal and 5PM - 7PM, but with the addition of the tent, the exit time is no longer fixed. But, remember, you have a big day on ....

Saturday 7/29 Noon - 5PM RH Treman Park (Lower)

Chicken BBQ picnic, potatoes, salads, watermelon and lemonade/water. We'll have some other snacks and beverages, too, throughout the afternoon.

At ~12:30, we hope to do a kind of welcome/yahoo toast thing, for which there will be some appropriate "toast-able" beverage; otherwise, the rest of the beverages from our end are nonalcoholic, so if you want any alcohol, you have to pack your own.

Lunch will be served between 1:00 and 2:30. We'll have meal tickets to pass out to the folks on the list.

If you think you'll want to swim at any point, come prepared. Parents should be responsible for their children (we are still attempting to get some kid coverage, but consider that a surprise bonus should it happen). There will be some kid/adult activity stuff there like balls, art stuff, periscopes, etc.

Park Fee - $7 per car to get into the park! Again, car pool if you can, otherwise, if it is a hot and sunny day the parking lot will fill up fast and parking there is going to be a zoo. I have warned the park, so they will just have to deal with us!

Guests. There may be several former teachers in attendance and all are welcome, so feel free to extend an invitation. If they would like to eat, too, it'll cost just $10 for them, but WE NEED TO KNOW BEFORE they are coming, to ensure that we have enough chow on hand. So, if you think someone else might come, please let me know!

Hopefully the weather will be fine, there is seating within the pavilion, but you may want to prepare to sit/spread yourselves out on the grass or wherever; remember - casual picnic! If it rains, we'll figure something out, but, to be safe, imagine clear skies!

Things will end at the park by 5PM latest, giving you time to relax, eat, maybe shower and prepare for ........

Saturday Night, Castaways Dance Party, 8PM-1AM, Old Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca.

From 8 - 1, a private night for IHS grads and their friends, ANY class year, so invite away! There will be a DJ playing great music all night long. There is no cover charge and it is a regular cash bar. This is going to be really fun! Come prepared to dance and carry on!

Optional weekend events:

These are events for interested folks, though not part of the formal reunion. I am listing the event and the contact person for you to get in touch with, then it is up to you and them!

Golf: Contact Deb (Cook) Donnelly We have a 8AM tee time for Saturday July 29 at Hillendale Golf Course 218 N. Applegate Rd. I've reserved 4-foursomes. If there's going to be more, I'll need to know ASAP. Thanks, Deb

Music: Music/Jam Opportunity: explore the possibilities by contacting Chris Gibbons (of Crossroads fame)

Gay, Lesbian, Bi Social Hour: tell everyone they're welcome to the LGBT cocktail hour at 6pm Sat. at "Felicia's" on West State St contact either Greg Hewett , or Eve Raimon

Prayer Gathering: Saturday, 5PM at Treman Park. Contact Kaye (Walters) Ingram. Note: anyone interested in this who might also play guitar or keyboards, she'd be happy to hear from you, soon!

I have tried to get in touch with EVERYONE from our class (and then some), but there is no guarantee that I was successful (in fact, I definitely was NOT successful in reaching everyone)! Therefore, if you would like to see someone in particular at the reunion, then please make the effort to contact them yourselves (I can help to an extent, just let me know). For example, I just called someone today that I hadn't heard from yet. We hadn't spoken in 20 years, invited him to the Castaways party and he's now coming! If I hadn't called, he would probably not have shown and it would have been my loss, actually all of our loss! Due Diligence!

Bring digital cameras if you want. I will have something set up at the picnic for getting small group shots ongoing. But, I also hope to be able to gather a mass of good photos together to put up a gallery online to entertain the classmates who couldn't make it (and for us, too)!

I think that is all I have, save this last comment via Sue C: "We are going to have a great time! It will be great to see everyone"! And from Bobby McFerrin: "don't worry, Be Happy"!

See you this coming weekend! Any questions from you, email me and ask; I'll answer something! I leave Wednesday for Ithaca. So, after Wednesday, AM, I am in computer blackout for a week! Woohoo!

PetePetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1153875740353036922006-07-25T18:02:00.000-07:002006-07-25T18:17:04.893-07:00Who's Coming?IHS '76 2006 Reunion

The picnic/reunion crowd includes the list below. Because the Saturday night thing at Castaways is "fee-less and reserve-less," all sorts could turn out for that part - I have no idea what will happen, but I expect that there are some who will feel most comfortable in that somewhat less focussed social environment, lower stress, whatever! As long as whoever comes wants to be there, it doesn't really matter, it'll be fun! The Castaways range so far is from IHS '66 - IHS '78

Here is the list, but I have to say that there are at least twenty more who aren't on the list yet who I know are coming (J Nicholas, R Carmean, M Ward, R Ruoff, D Doepke, S Smith, T Thoren, N Baugh, E Wilson, .........) or that will likely show up at some point (D Alling, R Burke...). Total reserved (including spouses/partners and kids) three days ago was 150, two days ago 165, today it is 172. Three days to go; this does nothing good for my blood pressure! (sort of a Haunt, Nines, North Forty, all balled into one)

They tell me the venue can hold up to 400 people, casual, room for dancing, room on the deck on the inlet; it will be social mayhem. A noisy, sweaty night of dance, laughter and general hysteria! It'll be whatever we make it and it'll be more fun if you are there, too!

So, call up an old classmate, your favorite dancing partner, take the plunge and join us for the big adventure!

IHS Alumni Party
Saturday Night July 29, 2006
Castaways, Old Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY
8PM - 1AM

If you haven't seen some of your IHS friends in a while or if you missed the last reunion or know somebody who did, are going to be in Ithaca or want an excuse to visit, this will be a good opportunity to get together and hang out for an evening, low pressure, low cost; as much fun as we want to have!

Cheers!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1152327746112374492006-07-07T20:02:00.000-07:002006-07-07T20:06:22.893-07:00July 7
IHS '76 2006 Reunion

Another photo from the pit I call my home office. Last night my daughter, Karina, and I worked on the latest and last mailing of information prior to the reunion. If I have a functional email address for you (which you would know that I have if you have ever recieved any emails from me thus far in this process), I did not bother to send you that mailing, so don't worry if you don't get it. After this, anything news-worthy will either go out in email or post to here.

Looks like things are in fine shape. Folks are signing up, so if you haven't signed up yet, please do it and send the money to Sue (I know, broken record; it's the job).

In about a week I will send/post a list of who is planning to attend.

The Castaways night will be great. We have a DJ lined up and I am busy spreading the word to other friends from other class years, and I recommend that you do the same!

The weekend is whatever you like, so get busy and make it a gas (I know you can do it)!

That's it for tonight,

PetePetehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1147897602614659012006-05-17T13:26:00.000-07:002006-05-17T13:26:42.623-07:00reunion detailsIHS '76 2006 Reunion

Here is the short version of the reunion info, as it now stands:

July 28-30, 2006 Ithaca, NY
Friday 28 - (still being worked out, so tentative) 5-7pm informal gathering outdoors at the BoatYard Grill - cash bar

Saturday 29 - Noon - 5 Picnic at RH Treman State Park. The ball is in your court, so pony up the stamp and write your check!

For the rest of you who may have only looked at the pictures on the front, you should read the back and follow the directions!

All of you should magnet the card to the front of your refridgerator, circle the date on your calendar, and buy stock in whoever makes tylenol!

I'll be a little absent through the month of April, but will get back to things pretty regularly from early May up to showtime!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1143504480538211542006-03-27T15:36:00.000-08:002006-03-27T16:08:00.576-08:00Typical Friday at the HauntWhat would HS have been without the Haunt? The North Forty? The Dugout? The competition between nights in front of the TV, homework and the collective "bars" was totally one-sided once I hit the stature of being construed to be older than I really was. To back up this illusion, I had in my possession the procured (don't ask, don't tell) NYS drivers license and linked Draft Card of an "over 18"! So, for a brief stint I was known to a few bouncers as Gary, and thought to be 27!

One Friday at the Haunt the then owner, Jon Peterson, confronted me at the door to question my advanced age courtesy of the other guys ID. The guy was from someplace on Long Island, and I knew where that was and I knew my (his) birthdate. Alas, the third question was the stumper: draft card listed an address in Canajohari, NY. Now, somebody, maybe even this guy Gary, really knew where that place was, but not me! I was stumped, and shunned.

Ten minutes later I was back at the door, different bouncer, shorter question list, and I was in! Someone correct me, I think it was $1 for a pitcher of beer served in a milk carton thing.

I realize that not everyone spent as much time doing these things as I seem to have done, and that is probably a good thing! But, for those of you who did go there a few times, be truthful, do you still carry the scars on your shins from tripping over the chain at the end of the alley?!

I'll have more to say about the Haunt, but I first have to tell you that three or four years ago I happened to be in Ithaca. I looked in the paper and found an add telling about a bar that was being dismantled and offering stuff. I called the number and it turned out to be the Haunt (which was moving from the alley on Green St to what used to be On the Waterfront, where it is now). Five minutes later I was rummaging through the demolition piles in the alley. Later I was driving away with a 12" section of the bar top!

This item made the trip back home with me to MA, strapped to the top of the minivan! It sits under the studio building even as I write this. I bring it out in the summer for parties. If the weather is just right, you can still smell the alcohol and cigarettes. I can name at least one classmate who I know that vomited on this section of the bar! Thankfully, the bar does not smell of that!Petehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05156674526716786746noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21963167.post-1142688687202559002006-03-18T04:54:00.000-08:002006-03-18T05:31:27.216-08:00a couple short years later 1970, we were 12, both feet planted firmly on the slippery slope of puberty and a slight change of focus! The hilarious and ridiculous details you'll have to weasel out later. But, as a tip of the hat in the direction things took, the cliff note version.

By 73' orchestra and music practice was out and formal organized sports were slipping to the allure of making money and other things. Sneaking into bars, sitting on the bank wall in collegetown, hitting students up for $.79 to buy quarts of Miller from the Uni-deli became the weekend missions.

Second Dam, field parties, nabbing the odd keg from CU frat parties; oh, the list is long and impressive. But, I digress, I was going to talk about sports.

OK, so senior year, the pinnacle of my sports run, we put together an intramural softball team and what a team! Again, I'll miss someone from the list, but here goes: Rick Burke, Rick Carmean, Tom Diller, Mark Millar, John Necheporek, Tim Rogers, Tom Fox, Dan Dyer, Craig Hull. Collectively, we were known as The Horny Bulls! I think this was Mark's inspiration, the name, certainly the mooing sounds and the little finger horns and the gyrating hips!

Somewhere I still have my team jersey. The pic shows our wonderful and memorable Coach Lou Fabi. Small Fry Football was a cast of thousands, some of them mentioned in the clipping (if it is readable).

On the NCR team were (I won't remember all the names without help) folks like Tim Ciaschi, Tim Benedict, Rick Burke, Rick Carmean, Daryl Bacorn, Ron Weeks, Joey Nicholas, AJ Rich, Ken Kraft.

Coach Lou had this booming voice and was great at getting us motivated, a wonderful time. The running backs all had names like, Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog (especially liked Dog Back, great ring to it!).
